Brachiaria hybrid Tropical Seed grass It is result of three generation of crosses and research.

Pelleting®  Technique:

Seed is covered with substances to vary its shape and size and to improve its response to specific planting and management conditions.

Speedy germ®  Technology:

This process breaks seed dormancy in tropical climates and activates the enzymes involved in the initiation of germination.

The germination of seed treated with Speedygerm®  is quick and uniform.
Mulato II has excellent nutritional characteristics in terms of crude protein (CP) content and digestibility.

Contributes hardiness and tolerance to soils with high aluminum content inherited from Brachiaria decumbens, the predecessor of Mulato II.
Management of high stocking rates, which significantly increases the meat and milk production per hectare.

Caracteristics of the product:

Uniform forage production year-round.

Good adaptation to adverse conditions as well as to different climates and soils of the humid, sub-humid, and dry tropics, increasing forage availability during critical times (dry season and cold fronts called ‘nortes’).

Mulato II presented antibiotic resistance to the spittlebug species Aeneolamia reducta, Zulia carbonaria, Prosapia simulans, and Mahanarva trifissa in greenhouse tests.
