Comercial Agrícola la Viña, started operating in the national as well as in the international market 25 years ago. Nowadays it is consolidated as an important avocado export enterprise in the region. It was created as a family company. Valentín Rodríguez works in the company as General Director, he and his family continued with this company after 25 years, always considering the clients and their satisfaction. 

                                               

Because of the best available technology, we have the possibility of breaking into markets as important as the market of the United States which has standards of worldwide quality. This is the result of a long way in which our enterprises has had to submit to improvements in its production processes which allow us to respond to strict quality regulations of the country having the highest rates of consumption in the world.

This is why it has built a packing plant with leading technology, planning to export avocado to U.S.A. The new packing plant has 3 freezing chambers, well equipped with forced air tunnels, with 150 tons capacity each.

It is vital to remember that since 1994 when NAFTA was signed, the trade borders started to disappear. The international trade has made us think of new horizons, quoting the Mexican Board of Foreign Trade, Investment and technology that says: “Delivering to the world the best of México and bringing to México the best of the world.”

This new packing plant of avocado has is able to deliver to  5 holders daily weighing 18,600 kilos approximately. It has a selecting machine for color and weight for 30 tons per hour. This packing plant is located in La Viña, Tacámbaro Michoacán, a natural zone for supplies where there are 12 thousand hectare orchards in a radius of 35 kms.  

                                               

Within the national market Comercial Agricola La Viña, has business with Nuevo León, Puebla, Querétaro, Sonora and Mexico City among other states in México. Internationally, it has dealt successfully with El Salvador, Honduras, Costa Rica  and during this last year with the United States of America (LA and Texas)  due to supervision and adherence to the specific demands of each consumer as well as satisfying the calibers that each market requires.

Comercial Agricola La Viña, due to working with constant compliance with quality standards has became one of the avocado suppliers of important supermarkets in México such as Wal- Mart, Chedrahui, VH (supermarket in Hermosillo Sonora) among others.
