Tequila’s PENACHO AZTECA History:
Pleased with distinguished style that our Premium tequilas own, we offer to our customers our 100% agave tequila named Penacho Azteca. It is named after the Moctezuma Aztec’s crest, which the founder family considers an invaluable item from our forebear Mexican history full of beauty, richness and magic.
For the Mexican natives, the Penacho (crest) was a symbol of respect and leadership which would give to the person wearing it, the most recognized high command in their society.
Because of its importance and value we can compare its meaning to that of a king´s crown. For this reason, the Corona Orozco Family honors its Premium brand with this great and prestigious name.
The original Moctezuma Aztec’s crest is actually in Vienna, Austria, since 1524.

Bottles’ design:
When the bottle was designed, the idea was based on getting a product representative from the Mexican culture, that would portray, and that would make the customer feel Mexican culture in his hands.
The embossed figures on its sides are from the inside of a native’s pyramid building. The logotype is also embossed on the front side of the bottle. This personalizes the perfect harmony of Mexican culture represented by the native’s pyramid building, the native’s head, and the tequila’s plant (the blue agave Weber plant) making this way the PENACHO (crest).
The design of the image of this product reflects clearly the elegance and quality of the product. Currently we sell these Products in: Mexico, USA, China and Switzerland.
