HISTORY:

Since 1950 Mr. Hector Anaya Marquez had a vision: to produce Boots and Ankle Boots. He began as a small manufacturer, working in a artisanal way (handmade), but always taking into account what he believed was most important; the quality of the boots.

By the year 1980, “El Canelo´s brand” was already recognized in the national market as one of the most important brands. This due to an innovative production system, and always maintaining strict quality control.

“El Canelo” opened its borders by exporting its products to countries like Germany, France, USA, Spain and Italy. As a result it became a Mexican bestselling brand in Europe.

At the moment, “El Canelo” is managed by Héctor Anaya Jr. “El Canelo” is a leading company in the leather industry. It offers fashionable standards and production, creating styles that are always on the vanguard with the highest quality production system.

“El Canelo” has two stores in Guanajuato, one located in the Shoe Plaza in León, and another in Irapuato, Guanajuato. It distributes its products throughout the entire Mexican Republic, and currently exports to Germany, France, USA and Canada.

Now we are aiming to expand our stores and offer our best quality products to a wider market.
