Objective

Our objective is the fabrication of orthopedic foot wear that meets all the necessary requirements, using high quality materials and always aiming to give the best service to our clients. That is why we continue to search for the best production systems and constant training for our workers.

History

Ortopédicos Dinky was founded due to the vision of Mr. Ruben Fonseca Barba in 1958 in the city of Leon, Guanajuato Mexico, he wanted not only to produce shoes but to create shoes that could prevent and aid orthopedic problems.

Mr. Ruben who was originally from the state of Jalisco, from a young age learned the art of being a business man. Due to the fact that he had to pause his studies as a young man in order to help his family economically.

He began by selling candy, afterwards he worked in two clothing stores and while he was manager of a shirt store the idea of becoming independent business man emerged thus he established a store called “Casa Fonseca”, it was then that he began producing foot wear, in a very small space in his house patio, with only 3 workers. Later on came the idea of fabricating shoes that would help the correct formation of children´s feet. He sought specialized advice, in which he came in contact with French orthopedics and found concepts that brought him closer to true orthopedic footwear.

Dinky´s orthopedic footwear has been produced for 48 years, time in which three generations have been using Dinky´s shoes, always aiding in the correction of orthopedic problems.

The quality materials, artistic hands which create them and technical-medical investigations that we have, result in perfect footwear.
