Since October 2002, Ecological topics such as environmental respect and giving back to Earth what it has shared with us, have consolidated a series of concepts present in agriculture and in all sort of Social Organizations ranging from Governmental to Non-Governmental organizations.
This approach is not the exception in Eco Rancho Caracha, where constant testing of ORGANIC CROPS, FRUITS AND FLOWERS have been happening in its territory at an experimental stage.
The outcomes of this work can been seen today when Eco Rancho Caracha is able to offer Organic Blackberry, Brazos & Tupy varieties. As of March of 2005 this berry has been certified by BIOAGRICERT, an International Organic Certification body. The Eco Rancho is also accredited by IFOAM for the production of Organic Blackberry with International Code IT BAC 008790.

Caracha.
Caracha in the local native language (Purépecha) means “The Place for Painters”. It is located in the Kilometer 92 + 700, of the Morelia-Uruapan highway and it is characterized by its breathtaking vegetation. The old Hacienda of Caracha was built in the XVIII century with a mixture of Colonial Mexican and Spanish styles, which has an organic orchard of blackberries and other fruits.
