Avoro Foods is a 100% Mexican Company dedicated to the commercialization of foods, fallowing the concept of a perfect balance between taste, quality and nutrition.
It was founded with the vision of incorporating healthy ingredients into a line of innovating products in order to be able to be a leading company in gourmet products deriving from avocado.
Avoro Foods has a partnership with “Extracciones Naturales” (Natural Extracts), with which avocado oil is obtained. Avoro Foods is located in Irapuato, Guanajuato however it also has a customer service office in Mexico City as well as a sales office in New York City.
In 2004 the brand Avoro was created which derives from the experience of obtaining avocado oil and knowledge of the gourmet market and the worldwide trend of consuming healthy products.
The first ever product of Avoro Foods was presents during the World Fair of Ethnic Foods in Paris, 2005 which was: extra virgin avocado oil.
In this trade fair in Paris, this specific oil was distinguished and recognized as the Official Selection of the World Contest of Eatable Oils.
In 2006 the commercialization of extra virgin avocado oil began in the northeastern part of the United States of America.
At the end of 2006 three new flavors of avocado oil were introduced: infusion of cilantro, lemon and jalapeño.
In April of 2007 began the commercialization of extra virgin avocado oil in France, entering the market with 180 selling points in the Monoprix chain.
The 18th of August of 2008, Avoro Foods was legally established as Avoro Foods SA de CV.
The presentation of Avoro Foods´s products within in Mexican market took place in the Food Expo of Mexico in 2007.
Within “Alimentaria Mexico” (Alimentary Mexico) there was a contest to see which product was the most innovative (Innoval Contest) for which Avoro Foods won the 1st place as the most innovative product of the year.
In September of 2007 the avocado oil with lemon infusion received the Medal of Excellence in the World Contest of Eatable Oils in Paris.
Since 2005 the company participates in international trade fairs such as: France: SIAL and SIHRA, United States: Latin Foods Expo and Fancy Show and Germany: Anuga.
In 2008 Avoro Foods will be presented in the Barcelona Alimentary as well as participating in the Innoval Contest, in which the extra virgin avocado oil will the only Mexican product contesting.
The introduction of avocado oil in the Asian market will be in Foodex 2008, which will take place in Tokyo, Japan in March of 2008.
